We had a great weekend at the Dogfish Head Brewery! Thank you to all the coaches who came to play! Our hosts were amazing and we were able to show off modern Electric Football to many people for the first time. The tournament featured TOEPRO advanced rules, a pleasant surprise to some coaches who had never played by them before. TOEPRO rules give control of the game to the offense, allowing the side with the ball to manage the game more in tune with coaching traditional football.

Friday went a bit different than planned, since a winter weather stranded our shipment in Montana for five days and delayed the arrival of our 12 Dogfish Head Ultimate 2x4' boards until about 1:30am Saturday morning! Luckily we had a backup plan, using 32x16" Deluxe NFL Electric Football games for Friday's practice and teaching sessions. Friday evening Dogfish Head provided a tailgate party for coaches and friends, with free beverages and food from their award-winning restaurant.

Saturday we began early, after all of our Ultimate games were set up and tuned. Play was within divisions, and each coach played several games with the winners advancing to the playoff round. By the end of the day, we had four coaches still in it, and on Sunday morning the playoff round kicked off at 9am, followed by the championship game and the crowning of the 2023 World Champion, Jim Davis.
