- 03/09/2023
Get ready to experience the perfect blend of art and sports with the Art of the Buzz exhibition! If you're a fan of electric football or appreciate art in any form, then you won't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind collection. Even though the physical exhibition at Colombia State Community College has ended, you can still embark on a virtual 3D tour and witness the magic of this exceptional exhibition that highlights the rich history and artistry of Electric Football throughout the years.
Art of the Buzz is a family and sports event that features the works of many artists and collectors, including Chris LeMay, the founder of the National Electric Football Game Museum in Spring Hill, who helped bring this exhibition to life. The collection showcases a large collection of vintage and collectible Tudor Games boards on display, alongside other memorabilia such as stadiums, hand-painted figures, and posters.
But it's not just a collection of games and memorabilia, it's also an art exhibition that celebrates the creativity and passion of artists who spend hours customizing NFL teams and players throughout football history. The exhibition features the works of Kerry Woo, a season three LEGO Masters contestant and Nashville photographer who has donated his skills to archive the exhibition in this 3D virtual tour and even created a custom-built football stadium which will be on display for the Art of the Buzz exhibition. Another artist, Ron Mango, is an electric football player and solitaire coach who has been playing the game since he was 12 years old in 1977. Mango completely hand-paints all his teams, including helmet logos, uniform stripes, and numerals.
